Budapest Christmas Market

One of the most popular Christmas fairs in the world awaits you in the heart of Budapest at Vörösmarty Square.

With more than a hundred kiosks visitors will get a vast glance to Hungary’s unique high quality folklore and applied arts products. Christmas decorations, small handmade presents, candles, gloves, hats, wrought iron and woven products as well as other special articles that cannot be found anywhere else. You can experience the real wonders of winter-time while satisfying your appetite with typical Hungarian cousine, mulled wine, traditional Hungarian pastries, roast chestnuts and many other seasonal snacks. A great festive atmosphere is guaranteed due to the performances by children, folklore groups, dance houses, brass and reed bands, string orchestras and choirs.

Opening hours:

• 10 am – 9 pm Sunday – Thursday
• 10 am – 10 pm on Friday and Saturday

The fair is closed on December 25 & 26.

How to get there from Boutique Hotel Budapest:

It is an easy 10-15 minute walk. Just walk your way straight through Vaci utca from the Hotel and it will lead you directly to the fair.
